An Artistic Study of the Story Collection ‘Zanani Paud’ by Kesara Ram

Abstract

The new generation is always expected to do something new. It is expected that they should be able to think and move ahead of the times instead of following the footsteps of the times. Kesara Ram, a fourth-generation storyteller in the Punjabi story field, is a signature whose pen has made its own special place in the Punjabi story world. He is a capable storyteller who presents the words and actions of the characters from a new perspective, keeping in mind the structure and texture of the story. While presenting the narrative of the events in the story in a systematic manner, he opens the deep layers of the characters with unique artistic techniques and reveals his theme through these techniques. In the research paper handled by Asade, the artistry of Kesara Ram’s story collection ‘Zanani Paud’ has been made the subject of study/analysis.
