Abstract

Punjabi poetry of Haryana is multifaceted and multi-coloured. Punjabi
poetry of Haryana has a special identity in terms of subject and form. Poetry
was composed under many ideologies in Haryana. Ideologies are not
presented only through words, concepts, or thoughts, but are absorbed from
beginning to end, up to conscious and unconscious concepts. In which the
subject matter of poetry is the study of art, thought, and memory. Which is
related to human knowledge and existence. Ideology is the flow of feelings
and thoughts, which continues to spread. Society, man and ideology
develop according to the same concept and influence and are influenced by
each other. Poetry, which started from religiosity, entered progressivism
with a new consciousness. For progress, the words progress, and forward
are used. Things moving forward on the path of development are a model
of progress. The progressive poetry of Haryana comes to the fore with the
names of Harbhajan Singh Rainu, Harbhajan Singh Komal, Kartar Singh
Sumer, Rattan Singh Dhillon, Prof. Darshan Natt and Pal Kaur. Through
their poetry, these poets express the wealth-poverty, high-low social
compassion, pain, human exploitation, and the condition of women, which
develops social consciousness.
